  2. I started to mod my GPU, first mounting the new frame for the Block. Then I designed a hybrid cooling system so that a fan is attached to the back of the GPU that pulls air forward through a few tubes. After sanding, glueing and bending the tubes i started to paint... The color theme should be like the Fusion Core you know from the game, if not this is one And this is my GPU I also added some LEDs to let it shine... and some red color accents are missing but this is my final de

  3. The next step is to assemble the front door. Let's try to make sure everything goes smoothly. And it can be completely articulated. Bring the acrylic sheet to heat bending. And fixed. There are four magnetic sockets at this point on the main structure. And now everything is fine.

  10. Final update is here! This will be the last post before the final pics, so let's enjoy every single word of it! Going on with the paintjob, I finished up the side pieces and installed them, together with the white dimmable LED strips. Now time to start the works in the hidden section of the case, so all around the exposed internals. Top and bottom are populated by the two 360mm radiators, while I used front and back to route the cables for power, fans, lights and pump. Of course I made the soft tubing and

  16. I wanted to finish up the Kumiko on the PSU side. I did this the same way as the fan grille. Only the outside frame has glue, the rest is simply friction fitted in place. Angle guide blocks: Getting pieces cut and fit: Main pieces all done: Now for a small Spruce panel to cover the wires: It was late so I mostly used hand tools: Fitted: A few shots of the progress so far. The loop is filled but has quite a few bubbles so I'm working on getting those out:

  17. Final assembly and wiring Wings are mounted and locked in half- fold mode. This means the inner radiator is horizontal and the outer one is free to move from folded to extended. The inner radiator can be unlocked and the supports removed which will make the entire package fold down next to the sides of the core. But that's "transport mode", now we go fully extended for display and operation! This will be my last post before final pictures now it's time to attach front and back reservoar, tubing and finis

  19. After installing the bottom cover with the passtrouth I had to move 5mm forward, with that the tubing was not straight with the VGA and it was also inclined with the original support. To solve this problem I ended up redoing the VGA support with an extra spacing of 5mm and reinforcing it.

  20. Ladies & Gentlemen. Can we make it in time? I sure hope so! Final assembly has happened, and it looks stunning!! Here you so the polycarbonate sheet getting installed and sealed with silicone. The drawer getting assembled, sanded down, sprayed with cleaner to get the wood ready for oil. The oil i use is Rubio Monocoat Pure 2C, which is a two-component hardening oil. Lastly i fitted the support bracket in the right place and made sure everything was running smoothly. Still testing a lot of smaller things before we can begin installing the PC.
