  1. Thank you for everyone's responses regarding the Case Mod World Series deadline extention. We understand that COVID is not going away any time soon and that no real amount of deadline extention could resolve the problems some of you are facing with increased prices, stock shortage and the inconvinience of lockdowns. However, we do realize that the original deadline January 14th is very close to the holiday season, and after reading all of your responses, we think an extention of another 2 weeks, January 31st 2021 should give people a more leaway in completing their mods.

  9. There was a lot of work in the last few days, but finally I'm done ... To cool the CPU and the GPU, I choose an Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora. This is the first time I've been using this pump / block combo. And after installing it on my board I realized that this is a bit close to the GPU ... It was difficult, but I was able to bend a tube to connect the pump to the block. You can see the bended tubes in the next few pictures. All the bends are done, all the lights are installed and tested and I had a lot of trouble putting it i

  10. The PSU is at the bottom center. When assembling and maintenance requirements. I designed it to just pull the shell around the magnetic mount. It is clear and easy for taking out or connecting wires. But in this case you have to take off ฺbackpack first. The back for placing the VGA is a magnetic cover like the other points. Next is the process of Build, painting and assembling. I will update again.

  18. Hello community, first of all, I wish you all a Merry Christmas! There is a big update as I finally take the time to keep writing. It's been a bit quiet here lately but that doesn't mean I haven't done anything ... xD Unfortunately, Covid-19 does not make my life easy for me I was in domestic isolation for 20 days, South Tyrol was also the red zone and there were curfews, so I was not allowed to leave my village, which means that nothing went ahead with the paint job because my buddy doesn't live in the same village. Well it doesn't matter then everything else wa

  19. New update: I've been busy polishing the outer aluminium panels. The aim is to polish them to a high mirror finish, but as it's my first time doing this it seems to be quite the challenge. Hard to sand all the imperfections out of the lower grits, especially when going higher up in grit count (600+). Seem to be getting there with the panel polishing (after tens of hours of undocumented hand- and machine polishing.) Still struggling with getting the lower grits out. Might need to get different sand paper.

  21. Spray paint First coat of primer spraying. After spraying, continue to fill the soil and then spray the second primer after polishing. Btw, because there is no time to finish the spray booth!!! So only simple homework hahaha....

  22. Mantis Blades The restarted 3D printed part is complete! Began to polish it like crazy.... #240~#600 sandpaper, after finishing, you can spray primer. 1:1 size. Part of the hand approximately 600mm. The part of Mantis Blades is approximately 770mm.

  23. Hello, my name is Yuri, I am from Moscow. My job is building and customizing computers at ‘Man-Made’. I first got interested in computer hardware at the age of 12. This is my first modding contest. This computer is designed as a knights armor, plated with 24K-gold and leather. Naturally, completely water-cooled. I was designing the project, I was inspired by the knightly armor of the Middle Ages. But real armor doesn't have to be glossy; it protects the body in battles. But the inner filling must be powerful and glossy, cooled by the blood of a dragon! Case: Cooler Master

  26. Hello everyone , I am glad to be able to participate in this year's contest again. I got a lot of trouble from COVID-19. My home is at the point of the worst outbreak in the country. I pray that everyone here is safe. This project I am doing with my friend. We try to find things to do while we can't go out of the house. I hope you will like it. Thank you for coming Build Vlog

  27. My peripheral mod will be of the Cooler Master MK850 Keyboard along side the Control Pad. I mostly wanted to make these pieces fit in with the aesthetic of the case better as they are already beautiful stock. The plan was to cut some Wenge and put that in place of the stock foam pads. To do this, I used my bandsaw to cut the Wenge at an angle and chamfered the edges. I then sanded everything to 600 grit for the smoothest possible finish. Before finishing, I added some magnets to attach the Wenge to the Keyboard and Control Pad since I no

  29. Final photos The theme for this mod is inspired by the Mantis Blades in the Cyberpunk 2077 to create the elements of the mod. I want to express the concept of ‘Deconstruction’. I want to show the Mantis Blades being at the repair station. All hardware of my mod is placed on the on the repair station to mimic the repair parts. The overall style will appear as what it should be in the game. This time the materials used are 3D printing combined with metal CNC and did a lot of research to find many of the parts, including military aviation conne

  30. The next step is to assemble the front door. Let's try to make sure everything goes smoothly. And it can be completely articulated. Bring the acrylic sheet to heat bending. And fixed. There are four magnetic sockets at this point on the main structure. And now everything is fine.

  34. Time to get rid of all that texture in the clearcoat that is screaming it came from a can.I grabbed a piece of 1000 and 1500 grit wet and dry paper so that I could carefully sand the clearcoat flat before polishing it back up. I started by using the 1000 grit with plenty of water and being crazy careful to only go for a little while before rinsing and checking how the paint was looking. I sanded until it was almost flat like you can see in the picture below. I then switched to the 1500 and sanded just a little bit more. I did not g

  35. FINAL SUBMISSIONS Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2020 Final Mod >> SURVIVOR foreword : At CMWS20 this time, I was inspired by the way humans can survive when the world's environment deteriorates. I prefer to call it a dystopian condition. My case mod this time made a versatile means of transportation at that time. I only use acrylic sheets with varying thicknesses (2mm, 3mm & 5mm) and acrylic bars with a diameter of 3mm and 5mm. the technique I use is to join the thin sheets together and shape them to make them look dimensional and deep.
