  1. And now the worklog is finally complete! enjoy the final shooting and thanks to everyone!
  2. now with the last details, like the 3d printed tesla logo on front and back and covering the black screws on the display bracket.
  3. put everything together to see how it looks.
  4. next step, i need to find a way to simulate the simulate the windshield but using a transparent glass or plexy gave a hollow look, so i ended up finding this slab that has the right thickness, transparency and that give the right amount of depth to the part.
  5. After that, i started designing the cockpit screen holder and 3d printed and painted.
  6. I started with the idea of a clean look, so my tubing route should be, the less you can see, the cleaner it gets, so i went straight to the right using passtrough ports.
  7. Talking about the inside, i started with the idea of a wood panel on the right side where all my tubing should have gone, but i quickly realized that it looked quite empty and too simple, so following the advise of my buddy @Sa mod i went all in with a full wooden motherboard tray, reinforcing it by combining with the already existing structure of the case.
  8. I solved by changing the painting from a more casual can spray to using automotive paint in a proper room and the result came out great in my opinion.
  9. The first major problem started with the big back panel, for some reason i wasn't able to get a even coat and got some evident spots as you can see.
  10. Then the first coats, both exterior and interior.
  11. Starting from the beginning, the painting process of the case exterior. Disassembly, sanding, cleaning.
