Firstly, the Cooler Master products that secure my entry into this contest: 2 Sickle-Flow Red LED 120mm Fans: Second, a nameplate that I'm not too sure I'll be using for the project, now that I came up with a different idea on how to illuminate the name (more on that later) Third, 1/8" cable sleeving in the colours of Orange, White and Grey: More products to come later on
steff345
Now I cut out the front panel IO ports (Line out, Mic and USB ports). The distance between one of the audio ports and USB ports are extremely small, which caused a slight crack to occur.. Luckily, the split is not deep, where this could easily be fixed by some wood glue and filler.. Next, all ventilation vents were smoothed to one height, and the rough edges ironed out: Once that was done, they vents were removed and the door was prepared for the window. Here, you can see the intended cutout of the window: and the result: Once that was done, I began cutting the groove for the acrylic to sit flush with the side panel surface (3mm depth): This is a work in progress at the moment and will update the result of this in a few days, as soon as I get some free time to finish the groove to all 4 sides. Until then, adios!

steff345
Then I cut out a CPU block mount in a similar manner, where I first drew a cardboard stencil and used it as the outline for cutting. This was cut using 6mm thick clear acrylic. Next, I cut three other panels with the 3mm plywood as a cover for the front panel connectors and DVD-ROM drive: Also had to make modifications to the horizontal motherboard bar for better cable management: Next, I began sleeving the PUS cables. The colour combination I went with is White, Grey and Orange Extremely satisfied with its results Next, I mounted the hardware to the case and used a combination of a Grey and White carbon fiber sheet for the finishing touches:
