KEV-PC

Hello guys again this year we embark on the long road of modding for the development of a model whose name is KEV-PC, which might interest you.

The basic idea remains that of a PC, so there will launch, as we usually do, on a PC that has something very particular removing the canons of classic case. In fact, as you can see from the rendering of the mod then we intend to do the PC appears to be the classic desktop pc, but we love the novelty and challenge, and we then launch out on something that maybe of interest to fans. Making it aesthetically similar to a normal case we aim to impress the "average citizen", thing not happened for the last mod CUBO PROJECT , but not to stay on the classic mod we want to realize all the case in kevlar fiber . An 'other interesting thing will be the cables, in fact through small tricks we will try to make them "invisible", so going to make a PC neat and clean. KEV-PC will be equipped with a liquid cooling system. the visible pipes (which will be rigid) will be only those strictly necessary. The case will be of size 600x600x222 this implies a large amount of kevlar. The details as the interior will be made in red plexiglass. All the case will be hand made.

At the end of the mod will be performed the Ballistic test on a side of the case......maybe :D :D

-Here we begin to realize the mold 600x222 which will serve to make the parts "straight" in the KEV-PC which will then fixed the fitting. The mold back of the case is also made of plaster but we have not yet begun. Once we have all the pieces in kevlar formats, we will combine them via Kevlar fiber so as to realize the case in a single piece. The sides are yet to be developed and think. As you can see from the photos below we have created a profile to recreate the shape of the case.

hello guys

We honed the mold straight through profiles of aluminum and sandpaper. Subsequently fixed to the fitting (yet to finish sanding).

With two-component resin paste the two molds together, thus creating a single mold to sand completely

Whoa! At the start, it looked just as "something ughly", but it is starting to gather shape. What kind of material do you use, where to get it and how strong it become - eg. what durability to expect from it? :?:

Fingers crossed, this is starting to be interesting
