Ali Abbas
Hi Guys, here is my entry for the Coolermaster Casecon Scratch Build CategoryIts called "THE SAMURAI SACRILEGIUM" and is an omage to the fascinating world, lifestyle and disciplinary way of life the Samurai lived. It will be in every way a traditionally looking scratch build making it look very japanese and will of course have elemnts of the nippon-samurai art.it is then a monitor, pc and keyboard all in one with speakers and USB key flashdrive in athe wooden bokken, which is the samurai practice sword.i want to give it that organically tradtional samurai armor touch an dwill try not to integrate too much modern stuff in the front which could ruin the overall look.here are the first sketches and fotos.this is the basic idea. so that was kmore or less the basic optical structure, now i have to start some of the decoration parts. this will be a samurai helmet with a chin protector that can be dropped via a servo to reveal the camera hidden beneath it. these two japanes letters are 2x "S" for samurai sacrilegium.like i mentioned, the overall look will be very oraganic as if a samurai made it himself in a little village somewhare 100s of years ago. these are the stirrups which will hold the reed ropeing that makes it look as if its being held together by the ropes of jute and leather strips just like the samurai armour. Ali Abbas
this Keyboard is then extractable by the flip of a Switch in the back of the casecon. it will retract into the Samurai Aquarell painting box which will also be the Keyboard housing too when finished and is of course the abse upon which the whole case stands. the rear deco Samurai helmet ectt.. this is the front Keyboard cover which will open and drop down when the Keyboard is out or in to conceal and reveal it. i founf These 2 mini Samurai sepuku sword which are actually letter openers and decided to set the front off ith them in a cross Plaque form.
