Bloxri
Hello. This is Project Penn Carbon. A college themed build for me and my friend. I've had the case for over 8 years. 6 years it was in use and ran strong prior when I even had computer knowledge. After the rig died, I moved onto a HAF 922 which then was upgraded for a Air Carbide 540. I've wanted to mod this case for years and now Its finally happening. Here are some original pictures from Cooler Master's website. Update 5/3/2014The case came back from the powder coating place. Heres some pictures of the case with the powder coat and some temp hardware inside.Wish I could remesh the front but don't quite know where I could locate some flexible mesh. I would love to just mess with a new elite 340 panel but its hard to find without buying a whole new case. Little out of focus but it shows how nice the powder coat actually looks. Hope we've grabbed your attention now Motherboard tray and interior. Top is not done because top will be modded to fit a fan so the power supply can draw fresh air from outside rather be turned upside down and drown in the processor and GPU heat that is constinly rising. Nice flash shot of the case. The color really comes out in the light. Shot from the I/O cutout. This really shows how well the color can be manipulated via differnt lighting. Disregaurd the hardware... Hopfully we get new hardware, espically new case fans because we'd love that! hint hint cooler master Things that still need done- 120mm cut out for the back fan- dual 120m cut outs for 2 front fans to be mounted in the front of the case.- Fan cutout for power supply to face up to draw fresh air for better cooling.- Shroud cutout- Carbon wrap shroud- Window cutout on side panel- Acrylic window cutoutHardware still needed- 3/4 hole saw- More acrylic sheets- More carbon vinyl- Anodized thumb screws (Blue or Black)- Casefans, Suggestions are being taken.- NZXT CB-LED10-WT Sleeved LED Kit- Hard drive, thinking 500G. It has to be a 2.5in form factor
