My first case mod. It's something I've always wanted to do, so I decided that this is the year I just do it. Here goes...

Registration confirmed. First parts ordered for build.

Gigabyte GA-797M-D3H (Motherboard)
Intel Core i7-4790 (CPU)
XSPC Raystorm D5 Photon AX240 (Water cooling kit)
XSPC EC6 Coolant - UV Green (Liquid coolant)
Bitfenix Recon Fan Controller (Front panel fan controller)
EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti FTW Edition (Graphics card)
Cooler Master HAF Stacker 935 (Case)

Began proof of concept designs in CAD for possible motherboard shroud and logos. Finalised design for side window, now speaking to sandblasting agencies regarding getting it etched.

New power supply arrived today. Semi-modular - nice, tidy little unit. Should be nice to work with.

Received price back for sandblasting of side panel logo. Confirming time frames.

Started migrating hard drive cages to top unit.

Worked out wiring lengths. I'll need to solder together some extensions for some sensors and switches.

Cut custom cable route through drive cage to minimise cable clutter.

Removed cage mount flange - unnecessary, will only get in the way.
