Dyson Parkes
15-01-2015 Began proof of concept designs in CAD for possible motherboard shroud and logos. Finalised design for side window, now speaking to sandblasting agencies regarding getting it etched. New power supply arrived today. Semi-modular - nice, tidy little unit. Should be nice to work with.
Dyson Parkes
18-01-2015 Received price back for sandblasting of side panel logo. Confirming time frames. _______________________________________________________________________________ Started migrating hard drive cages to top unit. _______________________________________________________________________________ Worked out wiring lengths. I'll need to solder together some extensions for some sensors and switches. _______________________________________________________________________________ Cut custom cable route through drive cage to minimise cable clutter. _______________________________________________________________________________ Removed cage mount flange - unnecessary, will only get in the way. _______________________________________________________________________________ Mounted fan controller in top cage.
