Zenator
Hello again every one! I'm back again with a new build I think the title pretty much says it all. I had planed something else for the this next build but things changed in the build plan, so the build has changed a bit to suit. I had planed a build with lots of RGB lighting but that build will come later. But for now Gears of War is in the works, Hope you all enjoy the ride. anyway I will get straight into it with some build photos as I know that's what you are all here to see sexy pic's and mooding. To start of I will be using a new Cooler Master, Master Case Maker 5. The Case comes with a tin box with all the screws and other bits and two other parts that I will need to look into. The box also has soft rubber back on it that is also magnetic. witch I think is a nice touch. The case also comes with a Red led magnetic strip. That archers to the ran controller that's fitted to the back of the Mo-Bo tray. Now for some hardware info: Mobo: R.........................? No I don't think I'm going to say just yet. Still so much more to show. The build will have 2 of the Masteraccessory Tempered glass sided panels More again, Tomorrow with many many more photos and more info on the build. Thanks again for stopping by.
Zenator
Here are some more progress photos For the PSU for this build will be the CM MasterWatt Maker 1200Not sure if this will have the power needed for the build ?Yer right lol I'm sure this beast would power every PC in my house. This monster also comes with plenty of cables and a here is a small videoabout it. Very cool. OK time to start turning this case into many parts.Front sound block out cover looks good and it works real well to stop most of the fan noise you get from the front of the case. on the inside it has sound dampening foam.Fan and LED controller is mounted to the back of the motherboard tray. now time to start removing more. This part takes a bit of effort to take of but pulling it out towards your self it should come off. it clips in at 4 points.now you can take a screw driver and remove the top bracket.top cover that also comes with a magnetic cover if you don't any top fans.Front grill dust cover.Front 140mm fans. that will be used on the back of the case later.PSU dust grill.Top removable radiator or fan mount. that will also be used on the back of the case later.Yep it's made by CM.So many parts.Time to rebuild.OK now starting on the rear of the case. Here I have removed the IO shield plate and modded the back of the case to fit the 2 140mm fans using the top radiator or fan mount.I have also flipped the MoBo tray to the other side of the case as well as rotating it 90 degrees. Here I have cut down some mesh for a new cover. Now for a frame for the mesh. Zenator
For the GOW build I wanted to show the front of the GPU, So I have designed a bracket that I can easily change it back to the way it was just as easy as removing two thumb screws from the bracket holding the bracket to the case and two more holding the GPU to the bracket So now I can have the GPU so to facing out. What do you think ?Thanks again for stopping by. knud
Nice bracket design. How about the card weight? Will it be able to maintain a straight line (no sagging)?
Zenator
Nice bracket design. How about the card weight? Will it be able to maintain a straight line (no sagging)? Hello Knud Thanks. The strength of the bracket is very good and has next to no movement, about 1mm or 2mm at most and once the water block is fitted and the loop is fitted I don't think it will be a problem , I have even set the case in it's front so to have the GPU running horizontal and it is very good.
