Matteo Costa
Hi guys! My name is Matteo, from Italy! This is my second Mod and by far it has been a beautiful journey The story of this mod is crazy, actually the guys at Cooler Master sent me the Master Case after meeting at a 3d printing event in Milan and since then we started a great relationship. The theme of the mod came up in my mind after a long period of travelling with my girlfriend I present to you the "ONI" which is the japanese demon described as spirits of the dead, of the earth, of the ancestors, of vengeance, of the plague and/or famine. The reason behind this choice will remain a secret to you all. I hope you'll enjoy my work! spec list: Cooler Master Master Case Maker 5 Intel i5 7600k MSI Z270 gaming pro carbon Hyper X FURY 32gb DDR4 (4x8) MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X (SLI) MSI Limited Edition SLI Bridge 240gb SSD M.2 Kingston 240gb SSDnow 300 V Kingston 120gb SSDnow 300 V Kingston Cooler Master G750M psu Alphacool Watercooling BIG THANKS to my Sponsors: COOLER MASTER, AK INFORMATICA, AQUATUNING, MSI, HYPER X

Matteo Costa
The first step was to re paint the motherboard, as the carbon fiber look didn't fit the demonic theme I then took off the adhesive parts with the MSi logos , revealing the RGB bars behind, and, once the paint was dry, I scraped the metal surface of the heatsinks to reveal some metal and make them look old more like rocks/crystals. PS: on top of the rgb bars I'm going to put some 3D printed logos wait for them...
Matteo Costa
I decided to replace the SSD holders in the mastercase with 3D printed ones as the originals were resulting too "high" with the SSDs mounted on top. The filament I used is white PLA from a company called E-Sun. The main focus point of this build is the Oni Skull in front of it and the thorns on top. The skull and thorns were printed with the same filament as the SSD holders. The skull took 39 hours to print and it seemed like foooreveeerr... but I'm really happy with the result, it came out perfect
Matteo Costa
While I was in the process of 3D printing the thorns, the glass plate of my printer broke in pieces so I had to stop the process. I decided to start the paint job. The base coat is a white acrilic finish. I didn't have to use a primer coat as the mastercase original paint was perfect as a base. The ONI logo on the right side panel was done by painting with nail polish. The reason behind this is that it gives more depth and remains translucent. THANK SO MUCH KIKO MAKE UP FOR SPONSORING THIS PROJE... Just kidding.
Matteo Costa
Originally my main sponsor sent me two MSI GTX 1060 Gaming Xs but... 1060s can't SLI. So.... "UNLUCKILY" we had to change them with two freaking GTX 1070!
Matteo Costa
Once bought a new glass plate for my 3D printer I completed the thorns on the top and glued them to the case with superglue.
Matteo Costa
As I wanted to create an "infected zombie" kind of paint, with black veins all over, I decided to buy some black ink and blow it on the white paint coat. Here are some photos of the result, which IMHO is pretty damn sick.
Matteo Costa
Then I was was invited by AK INFORMATICA and COOLER MASTER ITALY to finish the paintjob on the case body live at Cartoomics 2017, a big nerdy festival in Milan. It was SO MUCH FUN. So much. I loved it <
Matteo Costa
I then painted white the spiky top and used the same technique I used on the skull to age the thorns.
