MP_customized
Like always I start by dismantling the case and look how the case itself i mend to be used and what the possibility's are... Sometimes I don't have any plan ready in my mind and just let my imagination work, i also played the game to get some inspiration and boy what a ride it was! Of course the flash of inspiration came in the end where i was playing the very dynamic end scene! My eyes dropped on the dark cave like walls of an alien world and the futuristic building BAM! I had enough of inspiration for the entire build!
MP_customized
With the very dynamic end of the game i was still pumped and decided to flip the case inside out and put the front down and the back Up! I also modded the interior mobo tray and made it more central located so the Mobo and the GPU where much beter visible as they are facing the outside of the case now instead of blocking each others view. Some rivets popped and some Dremel Worx... et voila! the base was set! Pre mounting the hardware and cooling components to check the dimensions and YES... perfect fit! MP_customized
After the base was set it was time for the external covers to be designed and 3D printed, I used the inspiration of the gameplay to make this crazy 3D vertical bars wit splines and offset's to make a Unique pattern that suits the game well. It also works as the exhaust shroud (yes exhaust) as this build has a back air intake... nobody said you always need the air intake at the front lol. The holes and cavity's in the design make it possible for the air to escape easy and let the light shine true in a mystic way. (seen later in the progress) This Is V1.0 the next one will be more refined with the usb ports and power button integrated. ‐‐--------------------------------------- Fast Forward several weeks and personal projects later... BAMM there's the deadline incoming!!
