1. Introduction.

My name is Vitaliy and I like modding.

2 weeks ago I returned from a long work trip and therefore did not plan to make computer case in this year for CMWS.

17 years ago, when I was at university, I liked to do 3D models (virtual modding).

You can see it in my album https://imgur.com/gallery/huRYE

After university, I liked simple modding more (quick rework of cheap computer cases).

Сan also be seen in the album https://imgur.com/gallery/BJNjP

2. Concept.

About 3-4 years ago I accidentally got a modified case based on MASTECACE 3 PRO. To finish it I bought another MASTECACE 3 PRO.

From unnecessary leftovers, I assembled a simple (temporary) case.

Parts (Motherbord, PSU, radiator, videocard) in current mod will be located in the case as in the photos.

But ATX (E-ATX) motherboard and 360 radiator (8cm thickness) will be installed will be installed. This case (3 PRO) is not designed for such a motherboard and  radiator.

I really liked how the front panel collects dust. I want to save this property in currebt mod.

Over time, I really liked the shape of this case. I am rather conservative, I have 2 bearable cases (Ascot 6AR6 and asus ta210).

Thoughtfully added pro 3,5,6 cases to them.

3. Hardware & Sponsors

No sponsors.

The 4th generation processor will be installed (I7-4790k), the motherboard on the Z87 chipset. Video card R9 290X. Nothing special.

4. Creation process.

I bought a case mastercase PRO3 (not new). it turns out I already have 3 such cases.

I cut out all the plugs from the side panels of the case Ascot 6AR6 (such cases are sold from $ 10, cheap metal for modding).

They are well painted and have thick metal. I don't like the plastic in the cases.

The radiator had to be lowered slightly behind the bottom panel gabaroites. Or abandon the fan controller. I chose the first one.

I've already done this in my buildings. It looks a little brutal, but I really like it.

I do not want to see the USB and audio connectors on the case, but I really need them on top, at least 4 USB.

All connected external drives, phone, flash drives were hidden. This idea is just possible to implement in the case of the series pro 3 and pro 5.

I try never use the top for ventilation. 3 good fans with a thick radiator at the front are enough for everything.

USB panel modification (ordered on Ali).

There was an idea to make a lighting. Then I wanted to make it a really difficult.

I started, but it turned out to be too difficult for me so far (I used a ready-made Chinese controller, and used Andurino with other people's sketches, a lot of time needs to be spent, first big problem for me).

I will refine the difficult idea and use it in the modified case and later in my cases. 7 years ago I made lighting for 200 mm fans on addressable LEDs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aon9LQVRJTQ&t=10s).

The main color will be orange in current project. The color of sunset and dawn. Orange is my favorite.

I'll show you some photos of my attempts.

Even started to make lighting on addressable LEDs for the reservoir.

Reservoir illumination. I saw that some manufacturers started to produce such. But I will show you how upgrade almost any reservoir and light it from inside.

Plug (G1/4) + F-F adapter + Hardtube fitting + Hardtube (16 mm ice or frost is better) + Hardtube fitting + Reservoir plug.

Front lighting. Installation of dark plastic and diffuser.

I did not manufacture the stainless steel plates (2 in front and one on top), but I want to use them in this project.
