PaPang Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 Dedicated to sunnyxtremist, so that he can live a long and productive life, and to all SCMC members or wannabees (already 50 or about to), I present the "Paps Modder's Power Juice". I drink this juice 5 times a week and it helps me get through the morning until lunch time, feeling light, full, and with smooth digestion during the busiest part of my day (7 A.M to 1-2 P.M.). It is made up (for 2 people) of: 7 oranges (fresh of course) 1 2" slice of pineapple 1/2 of an ear of nopal (prickly pear "leaf" or ear) 1/2 stalk of celery 1/2 handful of spinach 1/2 handful of perejil (parsley) Squeeze the oranges, pour juice into a good blender, add other chopped up ingredients and run blender for 1 minute. Place in freezer 20 minutes and enjoy! The froth will turn into a smoothy in the freezer (my wife Gaby likes it like this). The ingredients Squeezing oranges "old school" way. Sample of a "nopal". look familiar? The end result, healthy goodness for all modders on a diet! Try it, you might end up loosing a few pounds and feeling better after all. Saludos and Cheers

PaPang Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 Just to let everyone know that I have been working on ver. 2.0 of the Ovni which should be done within a week or so. Basically more leds (including blinking), a repaired led chaser kit (much better but far from what I expected), repainted in another camo scheme, fixed the rear which was basically flat, added weathering and battle damage, weapons (sorry peace lovers), better switches (toggles), and a few other things. I am not going to upload a full worklog but I will post some and the final pics and a video. Hope all are well and getting along good enough. Good enough to keep on modding that is heheheh. Keep in touch and have a great day! Cheers and Saludos
PaPang Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Finally finished ver. 2.0 and these are some of the process and final pics: Assembled and done! It was fun and done in a couple of months. I hope you enjoy. When I get a chance I will post man-hours and $ invested in this upgrade. Cheers and Saludos

PaPang Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 The final video of Ovni ver. 2.0, put on your sunglasses, jejeje: Cheers and Saludos to All
PaPang Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 I took some outdoor photos of the Ovni, like they say "in the wild". Hope you enjoy, but it was the first time I had taken Ovni outside to know the world, heheh: Adapting it slowly to the outdoor sun. Tossing it up to see if it would take off by itself-nope not ready yet! Waiting for it to get over itself and take off. Hmmm, what is wrong with this guy? Caught it taking a nap! Oh well, when it is good and ready to take off, it will, hahah. Cheers and Saludos
