FrenkieNL
No Sunny, i'm a righty, dont let the pictures fool you, or you will get a lot more disappointed in your future life hahaha Ok, I removed the two strips, looks much better, thanx guys ! I added ACRyan mesh to all fans, and spraypainted the exterior. Connected the fans to the Mobo, had to solder two fans on one wire. Added one UV-CCFL where the GPU exits the case, because of the absence of a fan. Tucked most of the wires away from sight, except the ones for the HDD. Did a try-out of the fans with the lights on. Didn't look half bad ?
petoscal
looks great! FrenkieNL!! Glad that you cut the stripes, It does look cleaner, and with UV CCFL are you going to put some more UV reactive... stuffs? I want to see whats next!! Cheers! sunnyXtremist
It's really cool air every rotation of the fans! It's really FIFO!!! Go, go, go! I wished I could find something like that round acrylic!!!
FrenkieNL
This is the old HDD that was in this antique system.... kinda big eh ? So I exchanged it for a "SSD" for poor people with this CF-to-IDE converter and a 2 Gb CF. As you can see, it uses an old 3,5" discdrive connector I folded this IDE cable as small as I can away I need to make it black, it attracts way too much attention away from the tubes. I modified one molex connector to a discdrive connector fits. I installed a mini-XP on it, and it runs fine !
PaPang
A convertor for the ssd? Boy that is an old mobo! You are hot Frenkie, keep it rolling! Have to see the outside results too! Run Frenkie, run! (I'm telling everyone whose not finished and pls. remind me too!). Cheers and Saludos
FrenkieNL
Too old to run I'm gonna make haste with the vases ! First a paper layout. Inside there needs to be space for air to pass. Same for this smaller version. First on paper. And the same cutout for the air. These are the two standard beige side-panels, with the paper cutouts on them. With a decoupeersaw its quickly removed. Painted matt black. And added all the parts from the vases and the lamp.
