PaPang Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Wow, a metal sheet press (dobladora de lamina) and hammered paint finish (thought about using this finish on my mod). What does "HL" mean in your mod's name? Distressing of the paint is for...? Good choice of case for your mod, no pre-modding so you can show us some fancy ideas which I hope will be spectacular. Is there a theme behind your mod? Half life perhaps? Cheers/Saludos
chatnoir Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 thanks .. HL is half life, will later give an account ..always wanted to have a case rusty, but here in argentina it is difficult to get the paintings themselves are oxidized and I had to invent a patina.
rastaman69@tpc Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 now this is wicked! 5/5 for the paint job! man its so realistic its bordering in the "hazardous" section. we are all battling the war against rust yet here's someone who's mastered the art of it (rust). i'd bow down in praise if only i had them legs. looking forward for some more worklogs! ^__^
chatnoir Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 really thank you very much I am thrilled your comments, thanks! good I will continue to try to write more, to decode ... sorry mi english is bad..continue.. this part is acrylic next we will see some nice details .. goodbye and thank you!
PaPang Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Ahh, ya va tomando forma compañero! I hope to see more surprising ideas as you progress. Cheers/Saludos
