Kudos sunny!Cheers and Saludos Hehe PaPang, maybe that's true but I am really so concern about cutting too many windows on this Plastic bucket ( it might weaken it somehow if I cut this a little bit bigger straight for a window, instead make it two co'z I am not sure what the outcome will be). And after this contest, this will be my sample mod and the one to be used daily for transaction, surfing, downloading, uploading and netgames. On with the updates: paper templates for the holes I made with the bucket (2 for the front window and 2 x 120mm CoolerMaster fan external enclosure) pattern transferred at the target acrylic making sure no problem arises later at the acrylic I forgot to take a photo on the 120mm acylic template, 1 made 1 template and glue another acrylic back to back with it. and saving time to draw same template with the second one, this cutting it almost done clean and sanding previously glued, now separating the twin made the hole first and save another time t'was wrong that I didn't put the blowhole first before bending, so back to blowhole....wah. very nice modding bench, ehaaaa what to call this - really helpful. Actually, this bench is the same bench our carpenter used to built this house i am living in way back 1989.... oh already 2 fangrills, 1 more acrylic namelogo for me... fangrills we have a home ...the heat is on...it's on the beat... Bend, bend, bend and more bend... until Jarrannnn, ladies and gentlemen... the twin ...to the left, to the left... ...to the right, to the right... over and out... more updates to come, thanks for viewing!!! sunnyXtremist Posted September 11, 2009 Author Share Posted September 11, 2009 will be back in a short while... i am still here... about this sneakholes... trace a template, they're not identical because of the cutting. cut to needed dimension and contour, and bend the paper to likeness. these templates help alot to make things a little bit faster... I didn't like the outcome, will still check on this or another way to a window. sneak again: The better half of the antennas ( I already have the zoom antenna) the parabolic satellite dish antenna for short... It would be a toss up between you and Cham_E for the "creative use of acrylic" crown. I bow to both for your artistry and artisanship, Kudos! It makes me think that there are two chefs trying to make the tastiest dish in a cooking contest (like the Iron Chef TV program), heheh! I really have something to shoot for when I make my acrylic heating setup, thanks for the crash course! Sunny is running, and I look like I'm caught in quicksand! Have to rush more. Cheers and Saludos Yes, things are running good except for the painting later since it's really cold and raining heavily all the time. I guess I'll follow your procedure using hotlights. Wahhh, ok... seems to me you're getting the right picture Sir PaPang (your older by 1 year and 900 days - just guessing) , Cham_E_Lyon_TPC (or Cham_E for short) is my youngest brother (biologically). We're both into case modding, selling bended acrylics projects and computer this and that... but we're far apart, he's from the North and I am here at the South (something like you are in Cancun and i am in Guadalajara) and we have our own separate lives with modding. With bending acrylics - I am planning to do assorted Betta Splendens acrylic aquariums and not so big acrylic furnitures (because I live in a place where the people are an intruders to termites!!!) Opps, getting OT as always... I still have two important part of the mod undone... The Lights and Colors... Sorting out LEDs, let there be lights. Sorting out which color grouping. I'm jealous because I'm done and have nothing to do but watch everyone else. I went to the UMP website. Very impressive. There were over 1,200 registered members on-line at that time. The PSU computer mod was from You while I was browsing your previous mods - very fantastic. UMP (United Modders Philippines) is the official tipidpc.com modding group/thread, Cham_E_Lyon is with that group, and the website you are referring to is http://www.tipidpc.com (mainly for buy/sell/trade of any computer related items here in the Philippines (except bogus or pirated). tantric, also from the Philippines is with another group (Rig Nobbies)... And if you ask me what group i am in, till now I am independent (much better as an Xtremist). Let's start with the LIGHT - materials I will use with the lighting mod (there's my on/off and reset switches!!!). a basic circuit I will use, with dimmer and on/off switch. with all materials ready and an A1 arrays of LEDs, it start by measuring the length of wire to use. Remember my Led Array. the leds with pin separator, inserted on the electrical wire needed for the array mod. with the exact length, it will fit nicely inside an overview : with the spotlight, nothing can go wrong - it's raining hard and dark outside. soldered all connecting wires, ready for the go exacto the ribbon cable that will run from the inside to the light controller outside. ready and wired light test in front of the fan (actual situation, except the fan will be white and metallic silver) face to face with the lights dimmer and on/off capabilities, I can set the mood of the day with this... next light mod please...
