Hi all,

I use to have a Cm 690 for a while and I love it, but also wanted to add a watercooling system in it but face it has not really enough space, so with a friend we decided to do smt about it. I didn't want to buy a new rig so instead I started to look for an another Cm 690 and did some scretch.

It's based on two (2) CM 690 cases, I was inspired by the TJ7 and basically added a watercase :)

I'm nearly done but here is the summary of the whole thing. We started it last june and hopping to finish it soon

Here are the 2 cases

So first we started by disambling the 1st case

And here the result

The tricky part was to adjust the front facade, so that what we've done with a friend

Originally I've made some changes to my case, I painted it in white pearl and add some strips, and it was like that:

494299DSC02599.jpg

576422DSC02601.jpg

789491DSC02605.jpg

When we finished with the watercase we had to take off the white paint that I had on it

we used a paint remover, it saved us a lot of time

655053DSC_1190.jpg

212415DSC_1192.jpg

750577DSC_1195.jpg

and finally ready to be cut :D

709826DSC_0114.jpg

760513DSC_0118.jpg

597930DSC_0122.jpg

and that's what we end up with :) enough space for all the PSU wires

Next step ....Painting my favorite bit :D

So we followed the basics, sanding, primer, 1st and 2nd layer of paint. We went for a black mat
