Gusts
Hello this is my first project in the forum and a Cooler Master Competition. I hope you like and enjoy the project's progress. Objectives: I'm trying to make a mod simplified (old school style) through the use of color, light and simple cuts. Some things are already pre-defined, as the name Line, aiming the use of striking lines in the project. I intend to keep the colors on the outside black, but leaving it more matte to make it more like the plastic parts (top and front) as the original case. The inside painting is a blue metallic paint also the parts that are chrome (power and reset buttons and lines on the front and top). Let's go to see some photos of the CM690 : A comparison with my chassis temporary : More photos before dismantling: In the next post I'll show dismantling and ideas for cutting the side . Best Regards, Gusts.

Gusts
PaPang - Jajajajaja! I said. Hello guys! After much time I return with photos about the cuts. Let's go to cut! Every cuts was hand made! For starters I did all the marking and also began to cut the logo CoolerMaster: In this photo you can see the holes where I began the big cut: It's time to improve the cuts : The result is...steel is down! and... Gusts
Hello guys, it's time to give a color to the case. I chose this colors: Toyota SpeedWay Blue... and Vinilic Matt Black... I prefer Vinilic Matt Black because is very same with the plastic parts in the front and the top. The sides: Fan grills (missing rear fan grill) and the clips ( originally blues ): Go to blue! Lines on the top and front plus the buttons: Every parts on the bed for reassembly: after much rivets, it's life again and... This blue line in the side was a mistake, but the result was very beautiful and according the theme. Now is time to organize everything, the hardware and do the lighting. No much longer to vote, so go go go! Best Regards, Gusts.

I quite liked the result and you guys? For lighting I used it: RGB Multicolored Light Strip with 2 Meter, 60 LED, and 12W. That strip is very nice because you can made seven differents colors In next post I should post pictures of the final project. Best regards, Gusts.
