Pranja
Here is my second entry to Cooler Master Mod Competition 2013. ROG Crawler is robot case that I made from May 15 2013 to June 16 2013. I used my friend's laser cutter to make all pieces for the case and just like all my builds, Crawler also starts as bunch of parts on the floor. After sorting all of the parts and chosing best panels, I started with gluing: -rear legs with mounting space for two 240 mm radiators (each in one leg): -upper support or "shoulders": -bottom part that serves as a mounting point for legs and torso: -"shoulders" and mounting for head or "neck": -front legs (without front shield on this pic): Assembled rear legs (without feet). Gluing of feet. Start od torso assembling. All ribs are glued to two wooden parts (aka spine) ans secured with four steel rods. Attached all fully assembled legs on bottom part of torso. Even in this stage, whole structure can carry 40 kg. Ribbs are stacked and assembled in one piece. Placed on rest of the structure. Shoulder part is added on top. Pics with half finished head-since eyes are not installed, I put my protection glasses.
Pranja
Finished arms and fists are mounted on Crawler. My concept had cannons mounted instead of fists but I changed that to achieve better effect. Height= 100 cm. MBO tray mounted, head is finished (now with eyes), and painting proces was started. Not much longer after assembling torso,Crawler was standing on his feet, and he got arms and radiators fitted.
