  1. Congratulations on your win well done and well deserved.
  2. The "next of qin" build is amazing, doesn't hurt to keep trying to get in contact with them it deserves a spotlight.
  3. Hi everyone, does anyone know when voting will begin? It's listed on the cmws22 page as the 8th of February, or is all voting internal? Thanks for your help and happy modding everyone
  4. Cheers and thanks for the response.
  5. Hi everyone, Since submissions are now officially open, while adding images it states one of the 10 images should be a "hero image" does anyone care to elaborate? Thanks in advance and hope everyone has had fun putting their builds together.
  6. Really love this speaker mod, how is the range on the focal flax speakers?
  7. Took the time to take some shots of the final build, it's been quite the journey and it's been a blast working on this project over the past three months. I couldn't have done it without the support (and patience) from my wife and the helping hands from my boys, this build is for them so they can have a pc in the living room to game to their hearts content. Big thanks to the Cooler Master community, can't wait to see all of your builds finalised.
  8. It's done, it's finally finished. I must say this has been a journey of many ups and downs and pushing myself and my ability to the limit. Photo gallery on the way!
  9. Taking advantage of the GPU's onboard LED header I disassembled some of the LEDS from the old GPU shroud and rewired them onto the 6 pin LED connector on the GPU.
  10. Everything wired up, I ditched the 12v led for a warmer white 50cm 5v led strip so now I have everything running off a single Molex. I am experimenting with some light diffusion using some green foil from an old folder, it looks great aside from the fact that my laser belt skipped, and the bottom logo is askew. I will redo this piece but happy on how the lighting effect turned out.
  11. Begun testing internal wood panelling alongside some off the shelf 12volt light strips.
  12. testing some assorted badges that I have designed for the front panel.
  13. Starting to touch up some of the finer details, added brass brackets to the front trim to hide the copper seams and make it more congruent. added some brass rings to the AIO tubing for the GPU. Still have a lot of things to do but I feel the build is finally approaching the finish line.
  14. I refitted a 12v led and made my own housing out of some old brass pipes I had laying around, the lamp now runs directly of a 12v Molex, so everything is internal in the system.
  15. Credit to my wife who came up with the clever idea of adding a retro Eddison bulb to the build, it's a led and only draws around 2 watts, I'll look into rewiring it to a molex connector.
