This honestly has been one of my dreams to go all out and make a custom case and give it a bit of my own styling. Firstly I don't have any professional shop or anything to actually being doing all this, if anything im doing most of the work outside the barracks (did i mention i was in the army) of where im currently stationed. Dont have much experience with many tools so this is going to be a fun experience; learning to use a Dremel tool (looking forward to that), some custom paint job? At this point most of my ideas are in the air but if there is anything that architecture school taught me was that an idea is always changing, an idea is just a basic plan and that even in the end when you think you might be done, there is always room for improvement. So hopefully you guys like my theme, im basing it off a symbol i designed for my girlfriend a while back called Claudiya. On top of that my system is pretty much essential for the work that I do (meaning i dont think they make water cooling kits for Raid cards... hmmm maybe an idea there?!?!? and i dont really need a quad SLI) so im also going with functionality on the components. frozensnail Posted August 22, 2012 Share Posted August 22, 2012 good to see another Cosmos II entering the comp, may I ask whether you are water cooling or air cooling the Cosmos II? & ouch, yes tools can hurts lots, I know the feeling all to well Do you have a theme or is it going to be a clean stock looking Cosmos II mod? ClaudiusIX Posted August 23, 2012 Author Share Posted August 23, 2012 Well im basing the theme on a symbol that i designed for my girlfriend a while back, im actually working on it on photoshop and might be cutting it on the the right door and do some backlighting or something, i want to test out my electronics skills (hopefully i can remember some soldering and stuff from high school lol) well i only got one cooling kit so its for the processor i dont think ill be water cooling the graphics, but thats still up to debate dont know yet depends if i have time and money Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ClaudiusIX Posted August 27, 2012 Author Share Posted August 27, 2012 So got some work done this weekend, some filing and removed the rivets on the case, preparing the parts for paint the week after labor day (going home to visit family and hopefully coming back with a bunch of my tools from home), so far im liking the dremel tool, very versatile, never knew that a single tool could do so much lol, i have a feeling ill be keeping it forever Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
