Dobrinhrkr
In this update I will show to all of you some major changes including the top level totally rebuild. At August I spent my summer vacation in my home town and a few days at the workshop. There I’ve decided to totally rebuild the top level and finish some more things that I’d planned to do before. Because the building process is absolutely the same I will skip the details and I will show directly the re-manufactured top part. After I removed the old part and made this one I noticed that there is one spare hole on the third level and I’ve decided to make it bigger and install the Pico PSU connector for the power adapter. All of that was done just the first day of my vacation. The next days, things got even more interesting. After all parts were finally together I had to install the hdd/ssd bracket, arrange the cables and make the holes for the fan cooling the motherboard. So, let’s get started: First thing to do was to disassemble the whole build and install the hdd/ssd bracket. Apart from that I still don’t have ssd and memory I got an ssd bracket used to attach a 2,5″ ssd to 3.5″ slot. To be able to attach it to the motherboard I had to drill some holes. Mounted Next thing to do was to install a 2,5″ HDD which I use just to make my plans and install the cables: OK, I went to work on the mod but I forgot to pick up some mainboard screws so I had to improvise . My bad! The cables are installed on the first part and later I will have to sleeve them too. Now it’s time to make holes on the second plate and attach the cables to the motherboard. Some of the cables attached to the motherboard. After that I had to assemble all of the parts together and the build looked like that:

Dobrinhrkr
Some really nice metal work you got going on this mod buddy, looking forward to more as it progresses Thanks mate. Yea it was a lot of work on those thin aluminium plates but after all they are already done. Anyway: Next stage of the worklog was to make channels inside the plexi and on the aluminium plates so the fan can “breatheâ€. If you look closely you will notice that the channels on the top and the bottom aluminium plates are with different size. That’s made on purpose. So, after all the details were finished it was time to check how all things looks together. The thing I saw made me think that I will have to upgrade the lights because all those holes make the light unstable.

Dobrinhrkr
Wow nice design!! Thanks mate, I am happy that you enjoyed it After some time deciding there was an Idea to make a laser cut in one of the aluminium plates with the name of the project. Together with a friend we made this scheme with Solidworks and I went the workshop with a laser machine to cut it. Thanks to my friend Mr3D I can continue working on the build. Thanks again mate ! While I was waiting for the guys from the workshop with the laser to cut the text in one of the aluminium plates, I’ve decided to install the SSD and SODIMM memories and try how the mod will work. First was the SSD. I had to disassemble the whole mod just to install the drive. Next were the SODIMMS: After I was done with reassembling the mod I was like – SSD + 8GB memory, I should install Windows and check how the machine performs. And since I don’t have DVD pre-installed and probably not enough power to use one, I had to improvise and use the DVD from my PC by powering it with the Cooler Master Silent Pro 600 and connect the sata cable to the Black and White. It was a huge mess but the result was satisfying.
Dobrinhrkr
Two weeks ago, my friend Mr3D aka Daniel made me a huge favour to draw me a scheme so I can go to a workshop with a laser and get a text cut inside one of the aluminium plates. So here is the result: Ok seems I will have to think how to improve the light because it's spreading horizontally inside the acrylic plate but almost not vertically: And I want to say again: Thanks Daniel for the awesome work and your help! Dobrinhrkr
About a week ago, I sent all of the aluminium parts I have done for painting. The paint is black matt and I hope you like the result: After I picked all of the parts they look like this: I was soo excited so I started to assemble the mod asap. Of course I had to start from the bottom: Second layer installed With motherboard and sodimms installed: All parts together. Looks nice ? So, let’s check how it looks with all lights on: And of course some pictures in the dark:
