IrenModz
Hey guys. Im Irie @ irenmodz from Mod'n'Go Design. I think it is time for me to join this annually competition eventhough we all can see the chance of winning is 1 in a thousand after browsing all the worklogs/threads. LOL. I present my humble workpiece, the Gold Digger. Casemod entry title : The Gold Digger. Description/Concept : Goldilicous theme with minimal modding works involve. The concept behind this project it to produce something outstanding with minimal works of modding involved. No hard modding done on it. The modded case can be re-changed to its old/original look just by disassemble the modded panel and and re-fitting the original one. The only cut done is on top of the panel just to allow the Seidon AIO radiator to be placed outside the casing.

IrenModz
Cheap spray can paint. Sparkle Gold from Bosny around $3 for each can. Few other colors for base coating (black, white and grey/silver) $1.50 for each can. Im sort of traditional guy. Rather than spending time familiarize myself with 3D program rendering i prefer classic way of doing it. A cardboard templates which i find more 'me' friendly that using software. IrenModz
After done with the design we start with striping of the casing. The 3.5 and 5.25 drive bay are not needed this time since we plan to equip it with 360mm ran in front in future. The plan is to locate the seidon 120mm rad on top of the casing, outside it. Minor cut on the case is needed to make sure that the seidon 120 rad can be mounted on top of the casing. a small cut is needed to assure that the rad can be located on top outside of the chassis. IrenModz
The panels' design using 2D drawing. First few design which is not yet to be finalized. Front panel psu cover Decided to use proper cutting machine this time instead of using manual jigsaw and dremel. The reason is because of the time limit given and i wanted something more factory looks this time without too much hassle for the final finishing. IrenModz
The great stuff is here now. Marvelous quality for lazy :) modder like me. Playing with the custom made acrylic bender by a friend of mine. Quite a handy tool for acrylic bending works. Tested it for the first time on the final products. Quite nervous and hoping i didnt famage the panel else gonna have to re-do it from zero again.
IrenModz
Paint jobs Tested on 120mm fan frame. Coated with white base first Looking good Painted the blades. Quite hard since the blades are small and the gap in between those blades quite close. Unfortunately i forgot to snap the first base coat before paint it to gold. The rad too. The first base coat is the same with fan blades
