world
Building it! Here's a picture of the shelving unit The shelf set up with the motherboard resting on it A test run with the GPUs zip-tied to the shelf. I swear the fire isn't foreshadowing I ended up reattaching the GPUs in a different way, since the mounting was unstable, unfortunately. The piece of wood is some scrap I found around the house. Since my other mounting method wasn't so stable, I figure I would try to mount the GPUs onto the piece of wood to help out. Drilled a couple holes into it Yay it worked! Much more stable already, and the GPUs haven't even been zip-tied yet. I ended up using 4x MSI GPUs and one Gigabyte Windforce Mounting the GPUs and zip-tying them in Power supply and motherboard sitting in their positions before mounting them in Motherboard and PSU zip-tied! world
Sorry for the delay in updates! I've been swamped by schoolwork like no other the last couple months (it was a tough semester ). Finals are going on right now though, so I'm almost done for the semester!
knud
Downside of an open build like this: you're gonna see cables everywhere, even when using zipties.
