Sergey Mnev
Hello! I represent to your attention project “StringTheory”. The project «StringTheory» is in itself a spontaneous one and the beginning of work on it is moving at a rapid and creative pace, new ideas keep emerging, everything is changing within the chosen concept. I still can't tell you all the details but i assure that it's name would be entirely justified. Also everything will be gradually appear in the worklog. And you will be able to enjoy all stages of the process. In the meantime, I'd like to say that the film "Interstellar" and the case of CoolerMaster Cosmos II inspired me to realize all this. P.S On the base of COSMOS II (RC-1200-KKN1) I want to create one of the best modprojects. And even my torn shoulder ligament wouldn't prevent me from doing it. Sergey Mnev
I hasten to share photos. Yesterday came the motherboard ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX FORMULA and the selected processor intel Core i7 7700k (@5100Mhz 1.26v Air). This processor is ideal for extreme overclocking! Cinebench - stably @5100Mhz 1.26v in Air And I'll soon share with you my way of implementing the backlight in the radiators.=))
Sergey Mnev
Backlight radiators Illumination will play an important role in my project. And it's important not to make it too much, Turning the project into a New Year's geranda...((( So I chose a slightly different approach in this direction. With the help of illumination, I will highlight the details. And now I'll show you how it will be in the draft version. EK-CoolStream CE 420 Bend the ribs along the sides. This is necessary to place in the body of the LED tape and scatterers It should look like this from both sides. Install in the body of the LED tape and scatterers And here is the draft result. I do the same thing with the rest of the radiators. (EK-CoolStream SE 360 and EK-CoolStream PE 360) The radiator housings are sent for painting. As soon as I recolor them I will publish a detailed video about the work done and the result.
Sergey Mnev
Unfortunately I was a little unwell, and the work slowed I lost about a week, and while my condition is not in the best shape. And while I'm recovering, I want to share with you photos of the power unit that were made before I got sick. The label will be turned 90 degrees. Since this side will be visible and play an important role in the project. The next day, as this photo was taken, the doctor allowed me to use my right hand.)))) Sergey Mnev
A few more past work so far I was healthy. I managed to pick up new metal parts of the hull. Unfortunately, there were not any shortcomings, they had to be checked by myself, and I started from the front panel. I hope my condition will be normalized and I will be able to start working again to the full. Thanks for the support!
Sergey Mnev
Dear friends, I hasten to share with you a big update. For the last 5 days I spent a lot of work on the project. And soon there will be a long-awaited 50% readiness. I did a good job on the top and front panels of the case. The last preparations before combining the elements! We remove unnecessary elements of the basic design! And we are preparing new metal elements. Unfortunately, the inscription will interfere with the uniform application of the paint. We'll have to clean it! For the connection of metal and plastic, I use a special sealant. The surfaces on which it will be applied before are made rough, and degreased with alcohol. Here the same sealant is used. The process does not differ from the previous one. I'm happy with the result! The sealant I used gave a very reliable connection. It remains to prepare the panels for painting.
