Chopperinoz
This mod will be done based on truck and go-green theme. For some personal reason, I need to change my theme as I have problem to get the material to my place in time to build the original previous theme. New Theme for this Project will be Cloud Queen. I hope, change of Theme/Title for the project is allowed
Chopperinoz
Let's Do This Short summary of me and my project. I am a 3rd year mechanical engineering student. Previously I did a few modding case for personal use just for fun. This will be my first time joining Case Mod competition. I don't expect much after I saw other people submission's which are really awesome and highly detailed. I joined this just to gain experience and want to get involved in modding community. My english is not really good. Sorry Grandma!! As I am not sponsored (except that my mom bought me a table saw), Pc Parts that I will be using in this competition are used parts (almost all). I am kinda broke student and can only afford to buy 2nd hand Pentium G4400 . I only have around 1 week to finish this project because it's my only semester short break holiday. For this Project, I will be using Vector bench case (My old unused case) as the base case. The first idea was to make a Garbage-truck concept but the wheels and shafts are too expensive and will take a long time to reach me (order from China). So I decided to mod a case with very minimum cost and use recycle stuff as material. I will make a Castle-Like PC case with RGB cloud

Chopperinoz
80's and 90's kids might know a tv show called Art Attack. That show was famous for DIY sculpture by using cheap resources such as PVA glue, toilet paper, water etc. I actually watched back the shows on youtube to apply that method for this project. So I am planning to make a castle on a cloud. That castle will be 100% D.I.Y and with my minimal creativity skill, wish me luck . For the castle, basic materials are boxes, toilet paper, PVA glue, water and water paint. Luckily my mom bought a few furniture from IKEA recently and the packaging came with a lot of box and box. I need to cut it and stick it together to build a castle. I will do this project in my small room for most of the time except when cutting the case. Of course I need to cut the case at outside so that I will not burn my room. Picture below is my expectation. (Credit for Pinterest). But it is too awesome compare to my hand skill. So, don't expect much from me. Me, trying to art. Here are the IKEA boxes. That I will be using. Box are easy to cut compare to steel and aluminium. So it is easy for me to design or make last minute change if something went wrong. Before I cut it into pieces, i make a detailed measurement for the motherboard, pump and radiator placement. Then I proceed to cut the box sheets and tape them together. (Forgive me for my small Asian Room) Almost there, boiss! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . GG , I don't know about you guys, but I think this is not bad. I am really bad in handcrafting, art or anything related to it. Next problem will be how to paint it. Oh my paint job~
Chopperinoz
Here comes the "Art Attack". after around 15 years, I can finally try to make the low-cost sculpture by myself. The ingredient: PVA glue mixed with water toilet paper some patience The PVA glue is mixed with water in a container. Stir and mix it well with the water. Apply the mixture onto the surface of the box by using a paint brush. Put a layer of toilet paper onto it and apply again the mixture of PVA glue and water. Repeat the steps until it covers the whole thing. Make a few layers to make it sturdy. USB fan to the rescue. Sure it helps a lot to dry up the inside. . . . . . . . . . . So This is it, the outcome. Not bad tho.
Chopperinoz
My modding project is very back to basic. That's what I call Student Rate Modding. No advance machining, spray gun etc. Poster colour \ Sprayed colorless spray coating for finishing
Chopperinoz
I decided to cut the fan grill to make a space for the reservoir so that it can be seen from outside. shout out to my fiance for sponsoring this dremel rotary tool Cleaned up a bit the uneven cut. Then, I cut a piece of acrylic sheet to cover the hole so that the reservoir can be seen from outside. The original plan was that the reservoir is held by 2 holders horizontally but I changed it because that old reservoir was leaking during the leak test. So I used another old reservoir but smaller one.

Chopperinoz
RGB CLOUD this is quite simple project that you guys can do at home for your kid's room deco . Stuffs that I used to make the cloud 2x Empty bottle (1.5L) cutting tools (Scissors, knife etc) Cotton wool (Bought from pharmacy for around 2USD ) Hot Glue Gun Led Strip The 2 empty bottle was cut into half Stick it together Make a hole using knife. This hole can allow me to put the LED strip into the bottle Measured it again so that the length is not too short or not too long. Just nice I used the hot glue gun and applied it on the empty bottle, then I stick together the cotton wool. Repeat this step until the most of the front side of the bottle is covered by the wool. LOOKS FLUFFY I Put the LED Strip inside the cloud through the hole that I made earlier and test it in the dark. . . . . . . . . . Looks nice to me, atleast
