I might come back to you on beta testing

There is one way to make it fit: Take a dremel & drill and take out the mid plate
But you are going to get very, very close to the PSU.
If you don't mind to upgrade, you can check back later (computex time) for a 2nd gen frame.

Besides the cover change, is there really anything different between the Pro 6 and Pro 5? I like the way this case looks! Also, will the ssd mounts be cross compatible with the rest of the MasterCase series?
The internal body is the same as the MasterCase 5 series. (there is a tiny change/modification in terms of the handles, in order to make the top panel fit)
This means, all the internal accessories are compatible. That includes the SSD trays as well.

The MSRP is €159

Yes you can remove both plastic handles.
To remove the front one (near front I/O), you can use a (plastic) flathead screw driver and put it underneath the handle (just above the sidepanel) and apply gently pressure and lift it up. Don't use too much force when using a metal tool, as it will damage the plastic handle.

If you have the option, set it to PWM, since the connector is a 4pin PWM connector (and also 4 wires).

How do I use the profiles offered by http://makerhub.coolermaster.com/custom-lighting/list.php?lang=en&id=2&tp=5&pg=5
Download a profile that matches with your product. Inside the downloaded folder, there should be an executable file that will trigger/activate the effect.
(You cannot add them to the software or profile at this stage).

Good to hear it

What is your fan configuration? On 1 picture I can see the top fans blow IN the air from the top?
-
Your 2 radiators are turned 90 degrees, right?
This was originally not the intended usage, but let me see if it can be changed/improved in the future.
For now, perhaps take a drill and increase the hole direction a bit? Or cut the metal bracket and allow the actual radiator to move up/down direction. (when looking at the picture)

As you are in NZ, you might be one of the first ones to have the chance to buy this case

Ok, need some help guys.
Love the Mastercase Maker 5 - however before I purchase, my question is with an EATX board. From what you guys are saying above, will fit an EATXyes? I'm looking at the: 'ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EDITION 10, for X99 LGA2011-3 Extreme Processors,
Dimensions: EATX, 12-inch. Will this also fit the Maker 5 ?
Cheers
It will fit, however, the rubber grommets will be partially blocked.

What components are you planning to use? It can fit any ATX and some "E-ATX" boards, like the MSI Gaming 9 for example.

I plugged in the 2-pin LED cables from the fans to the controller, and the moment I turned on my PC, a component on the controller board got toasted..
Here's the picture
It turns out that this damaged the LED mode toggling function completely (to the led bar nor the led fans), even though I've tried removing the 2-pin led fan cable or the fans itself from the controller board. I thought if it was not compatible it would just not function with the led fans, I didn't expect the controller board would end up like this. I did use the same kind of fans that my friend have on his CM 690 II Advanced though.
Any thoughts...?
To be honest, I didn't expect that to happen. Since the fan is not from CM - was the header similar/same as the LED strip?
(what fan is it? I want to see/check if we can replicate the issue here)
Regardless, you can apply for a replacement PCB here.

I have bought the CM Masterkeys Pro S (MX Red) two weeks ago and i'm really satisfied with it.
Last week i tried to play around with the backlights, but even with the online manual, i can't get it to function properly.
For example, how do you have all keys illuminated in white and bind this function to a shortcut? Just a simple switch for day/night use. I don't understand the software at all.
You need to bind them under a profile (P1~P4) key.

Yes, you can remove the 5.25" bays. There are 4 screws you need to remove.
-
I'm curious, why do you want or need to have fan mounts on the side panel? And bottom?
The newer cases now have support for 140mm - which will provide more movement of air.
We have 1 case with USB type C connector --> The MasterCase Maker 5
-
Hi folks; Has anyone plugged one of these into a HAF X case?
Can I leave my two top fans in too? (removed the side fan and mounted it in the top waiting for a new side fan to come in an order)
P.S. Love Coolermaster ever since i saw a ATCs 840. I'll love to see a re-make of that beauty; especially its all metal construction and sliding MOBO tray!
Haven´t build it into that chassis, but at which model are you looking actually? The 120mm version? If you do not install the radiator on top, you can leave the 2 fans on the top installed.
I'm still using my ATCS 840
i want ask a question on the back of the fans there are switches s, q, and p does p stand for progreeive ? thanks for your peplies.
S = silent
Q = Quiet
P = Performance

Yes and no.
There is no software portal (That is only usable for F/W updates), but if you know C++, you can create your own profiles:

-
That is not normal behavior. I suggest to apply for RMA to get it replaced.
-
The stock fans do a good job of cooling the case/system. The CFM of each fan is around 55 CFM.
And what Dennis said is correct: 2 intakes and 1 exhaust fan in pre-installed.
-
Are you pressing [FN] + [PageDown] to lower the volume?
-
Yes, that works - the 2 pin cable/wire acts as a on/off button
-
Or mod the front panel? Add some custom design for airflow?
-
Your re-build looks very nice
Where do you have the air intake btw? (If any at all)

Since socket 2066 has the same layout as 2011 this cooler is compatible with that socket out of the box. So please double check if your cooler came with the brackets for socket 2011 (see page 10 in the manual) and mount that cooling.
Threadripper compatibility is not something we are working on at this moment, for this specific cooling
