Enigma8750 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Please enter me into the CM Modding Contest. This my Eleventh build since My Massive MI and I love this case. It reminds me of my old days in the 80's Military. When Ronald Reagan was Air Force One and The Berlin Wall was still a Reality. This Case is a Tribute to those times. For all you Guys who served in that War.. Semper Fi.. Do or Die.. The Case that I am Modding is the Cooler Master Storm Scout Starting with such a Beautiful case is a very difficult challenge. The Lines of the case are almost perfection so I actually hesititated when I started painting, wondering, if I could do this Case justice. To those of you at http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/ I hope you approve. For all the Untold thousands of unsung heroes that gave their lives in that silent war. This builds for you. This case is so sweet and quiet. Wire management is really well thought out although I don't do that justice. Fixed a problem today and finally got the XP on the machine. It runs really well. I was thinking of selling this build after the contest, but I might just keep this one. I used my $250.00 stimulus check and I stimulated newegg.com and used other parts that I had in the closet, so here is the parts list. Build Sheet. Enigma8750 Posted August 4, 2009 Author Posted August 4, 2009 Painting the ASUS SILENT SQUARE More parts.. I had to wait for some parts to come in. They are here. I got a new Plextor and I used my son's old drive for this build, He got my old one. wow wrap your head around that one. Anyway, Still no Wire management. I want to wait until I have everything plugged in first.
Enigma8750 Posted August 4, 2009 Author Posted August 4, 2009 Parts and Case Additions In case your wondering the red cover hides a clear CMOS switch so you don't have to open the case to reset after a bad overclock setting. I worked out the camera problem.. so here are the night shots. Thank you for looking at my Build. I hope you have enjoyed as much as I did building it.. God Bless You. Enigma
PaPang Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 That is one cool paint job. Great change from flames and bullet holes and skeletons. How did you get the idea? What was used to do it, aerograph or cans? Cheers
VALKYRIE Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Well done , but in my opinion the PSU must be upsidedown with the fan facing downwards and therefore the PSU sucking fresh air from outside the case
Maxession Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Very nice paint-job, you got skills! Good to see that you expanded the painting to parts within the case and not just the case. Nice job, good luck.
masbuskado Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Impressive paint job!!! well detailed!!! is like a hunter camo type of theme!!!
