PaPang
One's junk is another's treasure! I guess you could have made each of the ex-tie clasps by hand, but why bust your rear end when you can adapt something that already exists. That shows a good eye for finding "hidden treasures"! See noobs? You don't have to spend a month's worth of rent to get something done. Just use your imagination and creativity like sunny here. If you don't use your imagination, you would go out and buy a REAL solar panel for a couple of thousand dollars. Jeez! It is just a mod! As long as it LOOKS like a solar panel is good enough. Of course you have to dirty your hands and do some planning, but that is what modding is all about! Am I correct sunnyextremist? Cheers/Saludos

Cheers/Saludos I think the third quarter and last quarter of this whole mod will be very dirty and will deal with a lot of leadfumes coming from the soldering iron and lead, filling and painting of the container and dealing with the sattelite stand (needed in this kind of mod - a model wahhhhh). PaPang, whatever will be the outcome, you're still best in all aspect... the oldskul guy (next to me-wah) very straight forward in analysis on the pros and cons here, helping other participating modders what's lacking in their worklog. And for sure I thank you for pushing me to the limit!!! you're just great Oldman!!! (ehe, you're a year older than me i supposed?! and slipperyskip is 10 years older...whatttt?!)
