FrenkieNL
Good thinking with drilling those holes. I like the way you " solved" that.
PaPang
Heheh, the mobo tray arrangement looks like mine: mobo on one side and psu and hdd on the other--no problem, at all! It just shows that 2 modders on the other side of the world can have the same idea! I swear sunny and I did not communicate in any way with each other on this. Also must be the age? Really, it was just a coincidence! Mod on sunny! Cheers and Saludos
sunnyXtremist
Good thinking with drilling those holes. I like the way you " solved" that. Yes Sir FrenkieNL, I saw my error when I was checking alignment for my plan acrylic window up near front... It took me some time to decide putting all holes. But I salute you because you have a smallest play with your setup and be forced to do so. Actually, my main options was modding the PSU to half and a bombardment of cooling 40mm fans as I always did in my modding locally, but it would be disaster since CM will not allow that (as I thought a guy here in Manila will sell his Brandnew unused PSU and burning :) kept me waiting for nothing in about a week, so I decide buying an alternative - f*ck that guy uncivilised jerkoff). Also, I didn't have the right Mobo (as planned a simple Intel Atom) to have more space. And of course this setup now make me feel happy and comfortable that even on large scale old model basis, I could manage to shake it in!!! But since you are the PaPang kick :) both ways, you made this idea first!!! Saludo! Remember, I am an advanced Satellite that employ mental telepathy. Thanks FrenkieNL and PaPang for visiting!!! PaPang
Just saw the "rain" video, thanks and wow, that is a heavy rain! Second psu for sli or crossfire? Or a whole bunch of led arrays? That is over the top! Any leds for the solar panels? I guess so because of the acrylic backing? Sunny, your are really running now! Cheers and Saludos

Cheers and Saludos Yup I got interested to record it since I feel so lazy to continue modding when it's raining hard. The photo of that modded AT PSU was taken 2005, my first mod on this half sized psu on a customer's order that he will be using unusual quantities of fans and lights (ccfl), and doesn't want to bother the expensive PSU for his main system, the second psu can be turn off when not needed. I think for a SLI or Crossfire is so sensitive to PSU, moreoften they don't work nicely with a generic one. Yup I commented on your post about using another PSU if you'll be playing with bunch of LEDs (as I will do it on this casemod with many leds - a 1$ AT psu 230watts with an on/off switch (working but 2nd hand to throw out price) - the one for k6-2 of year 2000 of which I bought lots of quantities for this type of modding alone). yup it has light too the solarpanel. but I'll try to make sure it will not replace a Christmas tree( choice of Led color on each places). I hope I make it on time, since I have all the raw materials here and all pending customers will wait till 20sept. for their orders ans services. The CM 120mm fans location and some window mods- Location:

New solutions and techniques all the time... Thanks Sir asgneto, we learn from each others ideas and techniques and that will be part of our routine here or else there will be missing worklog (unless it went to a distro to be done). I learned more from you too! Now I can see the vision= (Preview of Satella 50% done)
